Strategic Planning Committee Meeting Thursday 14th March 2013:
- This is the first application that has seen serious opposition.
- Over 50 people have objected directly to the planning department either on line or by letter.
- A number of petitions have been submitted with around 500 signatures (the biggest one apparently lost in Cornwall County Council!).
- Opposition speakers from the Parish Council and local residents at the Strategic Planning Committee.
- The Council Members votes against approval, deferment and rejection!
- We are all back next month
The Council accpted that:
- High level Cameras were in appropriate and would not be allowed.
- Chemical would not be used on the site.
- The transport plan (needed to be revised and improved)
The Application was withdrawn by the Chair and will be put to the next meeting with a revised planning report (Expected Date 23rd April 2013).
